Orange County cities we connect homeowners in

Requests from this site reach independent remodelers across all of Orange County. The county has 34 incorporated cities, and each issues its own building permits. Unincorporated communities get their permits from the county instead, through OC Public Works and OC Development Services. Find your area below; where a city has its own guide on this site, the link takes you there.

Kitchen Remodel Orange County is a referral service, not a contractor. A request from this page goes to an independent remodeler in your part of the county, who gives you their own written estimate.

Every area below is different. Irvine and South County are mostly master-planned, with associations that review changes; the west county is full of single-storey tracts from the 1960s and 1970s; the coast mixes older cottages with newer custom homes. The city guides explain what that means for a kitchen, and the remodeler who calls you will ask which kind of house you have.

Wherever you live

For a city without its own guide here, check with the city’s building department before you plan. In every city, your contractor pulls the permit and the city decides what is needed. If you only want new cabinet faces, read cabinet refacing in Orange County.
